"Das doppelte Charlottchen" - Führung im Kostüm - Wetzlar 28.06.
Wetzlar 1816: Hofrätin Charlotte Kestner, geb. Buff, besucht auf einer Reise von Hannover ins Elsass nach langer Zeit wieder einmal ihre Heimatstadt und den Deutschordenshof, in dem sie eine glückliche Kindheit und Jugend verbrachte. In diesem idyllischen Hof lernte sie auch vor 44 Jahren den Rechtpraktikanten Johann Wolfgang Goethe kennen.
Viel Zeit ist seit Sommer 1772 vergangen. Charlotte hat den Legationssekretär Kestner geheiratet, ist nach Hannover gezogen, bekam zwölf Kinder und ist seit 16 Jahren verwitwet. Und jetzt - als wäre die Zeit stehen geblieben – begegnet sie sich selbst: Im Deutschordenshof sieht sie sich als junges Mädchen, das im weißen Kleid mit blassroten Schleifen auf einen Ball in Volpertshausen fährt und gerade ihren jüngeren Geschwistern das Abendbrot schneidet.
Sieht sie recht? Stürmt der junge Goethe gleich die Hofeinfahrt hinauf? Beginnt ihre Liebesgeschichte noch einmal? Und was würde sie dann anders machen?
Bei der neuen Kostümstadtführung „Das doppelte Charlottchen“, geht es um alte und neue Lieben, richtige und falsche Entscheidungen und die Frage, ob der Spatz in der Hand besser ist als ein Dichter auf dem Dach ...
